About Rainbow Presbyterian Church

Rainbow Presbyterian Church is a growing community of Christ-followers located in Rainbow City, AL. Our beliefs are firmly rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to develop devoted followers of Jesus who believe, model, communicate, and celebrate the gospel of our Lord. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at one of our worship services. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. And with childcare and classes for all ages, your family will love it too!

God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue the Lord together!

Here are our three core values:

The gospel liberates and compels us to worship and cherish the one, true, living God.

As a result, regular, transforming encounters with the living God will result in our spiritual renewal and growth.

Biblical Basis:  Jeremiah 2:12-13; 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Revelation 7:9-10

The gospel creates a nurturing community where love rules all of our relationships.

As a result, we will become vitally connected to a healthy spiritual family where we find spiritual friendships that lead us to

supremely love our heavenly Father and to reflect his Son in all things.

The gospel makes us a people for others who gladly engage His mission of making disciples of all nations.
As a result, we will seize opportunities to intentionally engage God’s mission and spread His Word.
We believe it is our God-appointed task and privilege to share the Gospel with others both locally and globally, in deed and in word.
