Rainbow Presbyterian
Church would like to welcome our new Senior Pastor Rev. Robbie Hendrick and his family from Nashville, TN.
Below is a letter from Tammy Hendrick introducing their family:
Dear Rainbow Family,
Just a little note
to say Happy New Year! Please pray for us as we pack and move to Rainbow City! Please pray that our house will
sell because we have a contract on a home in RBC and are set to close on January 18th. My God can do MIGHTY things and
we are thanking Him for that now!
I thought you would want to know who we are in a little more detail (from a very proud mama and wife):
Robbie
- My best friend of 23 years. What you see is what you get and I could not ask for better.
Me
- This is hard. I am not quite sure what to put… here’s a shot - wife and friend, mother of five (ages
4-18),
Club manager, teacher, wedding planner, chief cook and bottle
washer, servant of Christ most of all.
Trey - 18 (wow) UAH student, baseball player, FCA leadership
council, faithful friend, unbelievable brother,
most
of all passionate for Christ.
Hayden - 16 (time is flying) sophomore, baseball player, fantastic friend, creative,
funny and wears his heart
on his sleeve, sold out to
Jesus.
Megan - 11 and in 5th (my one and only companion in all these boys), creative writer, music
pours from her
fingertips,
athletic, more competitive than even her brothers. Is madly in love with her Savior.
Myles - 9 and
in 4th (my one and only hazel eyed wonder), smart, funny, impulsive, athletic, creative and
musical, feels deeply but holds it close to his heart. Loves his Savior and desires to know Him better.
Preston - 4 (going
on 14), funny, sweet, wants to know everything there is to know about life. Wants to be just
like his siblings, smart (scary smart), sings and talks non-stop. Teaches his parent’s everyday how much
God loves them and the rest of the kids because He gave us the surprise blessing of Preston (who by the
way loves Jesus).
Love,
Tammy
