Greetings! We are so pleased that you are thinking of visiting with us at Rainbow Presbyterian Church. Hopefully the page below will answer some of your burning questions, but if you have a question we haven’t answered, call the office! We’ll do our best to help you feel prepared for your first visit. Contemporary Worship (8:30a – 9:30a)
This service has a more casual style with contemporary worship songs led by the Praise Team. The same sermon is preached in both services. (*Children’s Church is available for 4k-1st grade during the sermon.)
Sunday School for Children and Adults (9:30a -10:30a)
Children & Youth attend age appropriate classes in the Education Building (Building C). Adults can choose from 7 different classes of varying demographics. But anyone is welcome to attend any class, no matter what your season of life!
Traditional Worship (10:45a – 12:00p)
This service may include some liturgy and/or responsive reading along with classical hymns led by our choir. Again, the same sermon is preached in both services. Children’s Church is available for 4k-1st grade during the sermon.
Children are always welcome in our worship services. For those who prefer it, we have the option available for children 4k-1st grade to be excused prior to the sermon to attend Children’s Church where they can sing children’s songs & enjoy an age appropriate lesson.
Nursery is available for Infants -3K during both worship services, Sunday School and on Wednesday nights.
What to Wear
No matter which service you prefer to attend, what you wear is not important to us. You will find some who prefer to be very casual, and others like to be a little dressier. So wear what you like! What is important to us is that you are comfortable at Rainbow, learning and growing in your understanding of God and His Son Jesus and feeling welcome in our little corner of the world.
On Wednesday nights we enjoy a meal together at 5:15 and then everyone goes to their classes at 6:00. Everything wraps up by 7:00 PM. Wednesday Meal info HERE
The adult offerings change each semester. The children are taught in the Ed Building. Youth spend time as a larger group and then break out into small groups in various locations around the campus. (They are led by an adult at all times.)
